ARCHIVAL ARTWORK QUALITY
Astrid Lee’s Artwork is varnished with the top quality Golden Polymer Gloss Varnish with UVLS. First, this top varnish incorporates a system of Ultravoilet filters and Light Stabilizers for protection from UV Damage. Second, this varnish is removable. Problems such as smoke damage, handling blemishes, dust & dirt accumulation on the surface of the painting can be removed along with the varnish. Third, varnishing consolidates the artwork with an even sheen. Fourth, gloss varnish can intensify color. All my latest fine artworks are archival quality, ensuring longevity of the artwork.
All paintings are made on layers of gesso with acrylics paint. Some artwork also contain graphite. Experimental exceptions do occur and are usually marked as such.
